Rebecca grew up on Shaw Island WA, She was raised very differently than most little girls. Her experience of life, She was raised by her family, who taught her how to build homes from the foundation up, to essential car maintenance... Her family ran a property management business.
Rebecca was taught basic survival skills due to the environment the island provided for her & her family.
This taught her how to Adapt and mold to any situation or circumstances that came her way. The Island only had a school K-8th grade, only one general store with basic necessities, no gas stations, and a post office with only 100 mailboxes.
This environment helped her grow into a woman capable of relying upon herself.
Unfortunately, her home life wasn't flowers and rainbows, her parents had struggles with addiction and constantly verbally, physically, and mentally abused one another.
The neglect of her parents showed Rebecca made her believe she was never enough.
Thankfully she had animals to help her witness and learn compassion & love, as well as the reality of death. She learned how to care for many types of animals. She trained, rabbits, llamas, horses, and dogs, and raised chickens, goats, and many others, she had a local Monastery where she learned many other skills.
The basic Spiritual foundation her parents gave her was Grace, they told her "God LOVES you despite your mistakes"
She had been experiencing God ever since she was 4 years old when she was sleeping in her parent's closet where her bed was.
She witnessed a candle mysteriously fall from her dresser and caught the carpet on fire, the flames were getting bigger, and her 4-year-old mind couldn't comprehend the danger. She started speaking in this language which she would learn later in life that it was heavenly tongues.
The moment she spoke this mysterious language the flame went out.
As Rebecca Grew, she followed in her parent's footsteps and became an addict as well and fell into the party scene.
Well God had a different plan. Rebecca found christ through a past boyfriend and then later she ends up going to Portland Bible College to get her degree in theology.
She is certified in Forgiveness healing as well as life coaching.
She had experienced multiple circumstances where shame, condemnation, rejection, and sexual abuse were so prominent, she felt she couldn't escape this reality, the very opposite of what God promises.
Until she had completely lost everything and everyone she thought was supposed to be there for her.
God had to have her really depend on Him in order to show her He was faithful to her always and forever.
She had to relearn the very skills she was taught growing up living on an island learning basic survival skills to just live.
God was faithful and is still faithful...
Her determination now is to help others Own their Intentions, their mistakes, and behavior because true authenticity only comes from radical honesty oneself.
Owning us and only ourselves.
Blame is the Enemy's trap for every believer to succumb to the victim mentality.
When we come from an identity of a Victor, the identity Christ Died to give us, we can never feel threatened by any man.
